A handfull of fun in every one! *
Puppets I started Kozie Puppets in 2007 when I graduated from my Textile Arts program at Capilano University in North Vancouver, BC. While working on my Textile certificate, my love of the “Muppets & Fraggles” meshed with many of the new techniques I studied. This became my puppet project. As one of my finale designs for class, I created a series of alphabet puppets and Kozie Puppet started from there. On a side note: One day when I grow up, I hope to work for Jim Henson's Creature Shop. I moved back to Grande Prairie, Alberta and started selling my puppets at the local Farmer’s Market. In-Stock sales were good and I started a catalog with fleece samples for the body, yarn for the hair, different fabrics for shirts, child proof eye balls and felts for the mouth. My custom-design puppets, have been bought and shipped across Canada, the US, Australia and Japan.
